I'm very pleased to share Anna Rudichenko's animated short film Metamorphosis which features my original score has been selected for screening and competition for four festivals later this year! It will be part of Linoleum festival's Ukrainian competition as well as Ottawa International Animation Festival's Canadian Student Competition. Metamorphosis will also be screened at Berlin's Festival of Animation and Flipbook Festival of European Animation, further details and tickets are available on the linked festival websites.
You can listen to the film's score in full as part of my album Mischief & Mystery: Sheridan Scores '19. A short synopsis of the film is below:
Gregor is a soviet WW2 veteran and breadwinner for his elderly Father and young sister. In a loose adaptation of Franz Kafka’s “Metamorphosis” Gregor’s life is suddenly in turmoil after a tragic event pits his family against each other.
If you manage to catch the festival screenings online or in person I hope you enjoy Anna's wonderful film and the other amazing shorts and features it will be sharing the screen with!
